Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dalton Wade!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayvion Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws out a powerful jab.
Wade moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wade moves out of range of the strikes.
Wade is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Wade throws a combination that misses
and Diaz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wade falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Diaz counter with a right hand.
Diaz stuns Wade with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Wade has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wade.
Wade swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
