Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vidar Glima (ranked 2234 p4p, 2032 weight class) and Rudy Sandhargen (ranked 260 p4p, 241 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rudy Sandhargen!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandhargen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Glima sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Glima was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Glima misses the shot to the body.
Sandhargen stuns Glima with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sandhargen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Glima moves out of range of the body kick from Sandhargen.

Sandhargen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Sandhargen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Glima throws a hook to the side of Sandhargen's head but Sandhargen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sandhargen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Glima darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Rudy Sandhargen has been cut.
Sandhargen moves out of range of the strikes.
And Sandhargen tries to counter it with a takedown but Glima pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sandhargen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Glima looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sandhargen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Glima.
Good standup being displayed there by Glima as he connects with a hook.
Glima throws a body punch but Sandhargen moves out of range.
Sandhargen misses with a hook.
Sandhargen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Glima just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Sandhargen has gone limp and this one is over!
