Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timur Mirziyoyev (ranked 2331 p4p, 3437 weight class) and Qiujilunzhou Jiang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timur Mirziyoyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Qiujilunzhou Jiang!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiang misses with a takedown attempt
letting Mirziyoyev counter with a right hand.
Jiang clinches with his opponent.
Jiang wants to break free but Mirziyoyev has control.
Mirziyoyev turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mirziyoyev manages to end up in side control.
Jiang takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mirziyoyev lands an elbow.
Jiang takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jiang is trying to escape the position but Mirziyoyev is controlling the position.
Mirziyoyev looks up at the clock and then as Jiang takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mirziyoyev smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mirziyoyev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mirziyoyev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jiang is trying to get back to his feet.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Mirziyoyev throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jiang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mirziyoyev is in Jiang's guard.

Mirziyoyev lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Jiang quite badly. Jiang pulls Mirziyoyev in close trying to recover. Mirziyoyev postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Jiang on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Jiang doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timur Mirziyoyev!
