Pear's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pear has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
McDonald on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pear. Pear obviously looking to wear him down.

It looks like Saint Pear has been cut.

McDonald is working for takedown but Pear is calmly controlling the position for now.

Pear is pressed up against the cage. McDonald has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pear down to the mat. Pear avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McDonald misses with an uppercut
and Pear counters with a crisp one two that drops McDonald! Pear thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McDonald to his feet! McDonald is in big trouble!
McDonald is rocked!
Pear is stalking McDonald. McDonald circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Pear, and it's lights out! McDonald really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
