Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lean Jhonson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaden Nox!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhonson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Nox sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Nox tries to get to full guard but Jhonson has control of the leg.

Nox jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jhonson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jhonson and Nox has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Nox is looking to take a break and control but Jhonson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nox leaves Jhonson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nox closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jhonson quickly recovers to half guard.
Jhonson kicks off Nox and gets to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jhonson enables Nox to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jhonson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nox is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jhonson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jhonson shrugs it off.
Jhonson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Nox thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Jhonson wants to control but Nox is having none of it.
Nox has hold of Jhonson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jhonson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nox tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jhonson tries to reverse the position but Nox maintains control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I really don't envy Jhonson right now.

Kaden Nox showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nox has picked Jhonson up - he's going for a ride! Nox dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Jhonson pushes Nox off and gets back to his feet.
Jhonson dives in and grabs Nox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nox pushes down on Jhonson's head and hops out.
Kaden Nox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jhonson tries to keep at a distance but Nox has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jhonson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jhonson stuffs the takedown attempt from Nox. Nox gets slowly back to his feet.

Jhonson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nox as he jumps to the side.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nox has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nox tightens his grip and picks Jhonson up, before dumping him to the ground. Jhonson manages to land in guard.
Jhonson is looking to stand back up but Nox counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jhonson.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

BOOM! Nox connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kaden Nox is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Nox wants to finish this one by submission but Jhonson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nox.

Well Nox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
