Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Calbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calbert is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Here we Go. Tre Calbert has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Calbert!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Calbert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Calbert thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kane to regain full guard.

Calbert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kane, up you get!
Calbert avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kilo Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane tries to clinch but Calbert is having none of it.

Kane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Calbert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Calbert is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Calbert throws a strike but Kane rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kane wants to stand but Calbert has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Calbert pulls Kane in close to prevent any damage.

Calbert scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Calbert is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

and Calbert decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kane's guard.
Calbert not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Calbert shoots in looking for a takedown. Kane tries to sprawl out of it but Calbert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Calbert wanted to stand there but Kane had control of the position.
Kane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kane is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Calbert is controlling him.

Calbert gets to his feet - Kane follows without any prompting.

Calbert closes the distance and pushes Kane back into the cage.

Calbert gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Calbert seems to be working for a kimura but Kane defends the submission attempt.
Calbert lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Calbert's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Calbert's back!

Kane lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Calbert just trying to survive but Kane is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Kane wants to control the position but Calbert frees himself and scrambles - Kane manages to regain control in side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane wants to get back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tre Calbert showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kane throws a chopping leg kick but Calbert manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Calbert has managed to clinch.

Calbert goes for a takedown attempt but Kane pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kilo Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Calbert.

I've got Calbert winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
