Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blaze Church!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Moon!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Church swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Church misses with a body shot.
Moon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moon can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Church seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Church connects with a nice short shot to Moon's temple.
Xander Moon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Church looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Church seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Church is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Moon is hurt! He's hurt bad - Church fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Moon from any more punishment! Congratulations to Church! Great finish!
