Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Carter (ranked 2745 p4p, 3960 weight class) and Brycen Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Isaac Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brycen Palmer! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Carter connects with a solid leg kick. Palmer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Palmer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carter gets a double leg takedown into Palmer's guard. Palmer trying to control the position here.
Carter gets to his feet. Palmer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter. Carter has a takedown stuffed. Palmer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palmer pinned against the cage. Palmer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Palmer throws out a counter right but Carter avoids it with no problem. Isaac Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter tries to move into range but Palmer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Carter tries for a takedown but Palmer circles away easily and Palmer counters with a straight right hand. Carter misses with a takedown attempt letting Palmer counter with a right hand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab by Palmer. Carter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Palmer circles away. Palmer is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Jab from Palmer. Carter looks to clinch and Palmer counters with a nice uppercut. Carter fails in his attempt to clinch. Carter dives in for a single leg takedown but Palmer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Palmer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter fails with a takedown attempt.
Palmer lands a big uppercut and Carter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carter looks OK. Palmer waves Carter back to his feet!
 Carter is rocked!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Palmer. No joy for Carter on that attempt. Palmer is looking for the big counter here. Palmer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Palmer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Carter dives in for a single leg takedown but Palmer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Palmer wants to counter with a clinch but Carter pushes him away. Carter is breathing heavily. Palmer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Carter keeps control of Palmer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Palmer holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Palmer scores with a nice short uppercut. Palmer lands with a short shot to the head. Carter tries for a takedown but Palmer manages to get underhooks.
Palmer lands a body punch. Carter tries to pull guard but Palmer won't allow it.
Palmer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Carter backwards.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Palmer lands a body shot.
Carter manages to break the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Palmer lands a really nice looking cross but Carter seems unphased.
A left lands for Palmer. Carter throws a sloppy head kick and Palmer moves out of range easily. Carter with a poor takedown and Palmer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brycen Palmer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Palmer lands a big right hook! Carter looks hurt but is still standing! Palmer lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Carter falls down and Palmer dives in with a huge hammer fist! Carter's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Palmer runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brycen Palmer! After winning the bout, Brycen Palmer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
