Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Play Whitewall (ranked 1470 p4p, 794 weight class) and Rob Knight (ranked 195 p4p, 112 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Play Whitewall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Play Whitewall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Play Whitewall! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Knight! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight has his takedown stuffed and Whitewall counters with a lovely shot to the body. Knight shoots in looking for a takedown. Whitewall tries to sprawl out of it but Knight keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Whitewall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Whitewall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Whitewall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Knight struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight is looking for a sweep. Whitewall wants to control but Knight is keeping him busy. Knight on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Knight is trying to control Whitewall's posture but Whitewall avoids it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Knight takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Check out the look on Whitewall's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Knight is trying to improve his position. Whitewall in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Knight stops Whitewall from passing to mount. Whitewall cracks Knight with a big elbow. Whitewall postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Whitewall looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Knight is avoiding damage well.
Whitewall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knight keeps working. Knight is trying to get back to half guard. Sloppy strikes there by Whitewall.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Whitewall cracks Knight with an elbow. That is naaassty. Knight struggling a bit here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Knight manages to get back to half guard.
Knight is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Whitewall pulls his head out easily. Whitewall throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Whitewall wants to pass to mount but Knight is defending the position.
Knight looking for submissions off his back. Knight trying to control but Whitewall postures up.
Whitewall looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Knight looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Whitewall trying to control the action but Knight is working from the bottom. Knight is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Whitewall scores with a couple of nice shots. Whitewall throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Knight regains full guard. Nicely done.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight looking to control.
Whitewall trying to control but Knight is working from the bottom. Whitewall makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Whitewall throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Knight looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Knight has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA London. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Whitewall with a nice head shot there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Whitewall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Whitewall passes Knight's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Knight trying to control but Whitewall postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Play Whitewall dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Whitewall is defended easily by Knight. Knight dives in and grabs Whitewall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Whitewall pushes down on Knight's head and hops out. Knight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Whitewall but Whitewall pushes him off and we're back to square one. Knight shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Whitewall counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Play Whitewall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Knight. Knight wants to improve his position but Whitewall is controlling well.
Whitewall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knight can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitewall winds up and cracks Knight with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Whitewall working the head and body with strikes. Whitewall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Knight does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Knight wants to control but Whitewall is keeping busy.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Whitewall moves into full mount! Knight won't be happy about that! Knight is desperately trying to improve his position but Whitewall has a good base and remains in mount. Knight bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Knight wanted to stand there but Whitewall had control of the position.
Knight drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Whitewall dives on top into guard.
Whitewall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Knight is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Whitewall is aware though and is defending well. Whitewall lands a couple of digs.

Knight has an active guard here but Whitewall has managed to pass into half guard.
Whitewall looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knight with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Whitewall drops an elbow to the side of Knight's head. Whitewall is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Knight is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Whitewall is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Whitewall stands up over Knight, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Knight looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Knight has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Whitewall doesn't defend quickly enough and Knight has managed to lock this one up! Can Whitewall escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Knight on a fantastic submission victory.
