PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Osa (ranked 3936 p4p, 25996 weight class) and Vladimir Dudar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dudar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oscar De La Luna kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Osa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladimir Dudar!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dudar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Osa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dudar, who protects the arm well.

Osa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dudar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Osa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osa decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dudar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Osa is fending him off so far but Dudar persists. Nope, Osa circles away and we're back to standing.

Dudar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dudar enables Osa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dudar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Osa works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Osa stands up and beckons Dudar to join him on the feet.

Osa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dudar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Osa is in Dudar's guard.

Osa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Osa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Dudar keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Osa throws a right and a left that Dudar avoids nicely.

Osa gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dudar is looking to control Osa's arms but Osa gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dudar has his back to the cage.

Osa manages to break the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Osa shoots in and gets a takedown into Dudar's guard.

Osa stands up and waves to Dudar to follow him.

Osa rushes Dudar and presses him up against the cage.

Osa jumps guard.
Osa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Osa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dudar's guard.

Osa decides to stand and escape the position.

Osa gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Osa wants the takedown. Dudar is fighting it off but Osa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dudar's guard against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Osa advances to half guard.

Osa stands up and beckons Dudar to join him on the feet.

Osa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Osa lands in his opponent's guard.

Osa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dudar is working an open guard so Osa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Osa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dudar can do to turn this around?

Osa forces Dudar back against the cage and clinches.
Dudar wants to stall.
Osa is stalling here.
Osa's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Osa gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dudar takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Osa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dudar is breathing heavily.
Dudar prevents Osa from breaking the clinch.

Dudar tries to stall but Osa uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Osa seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Osa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dudar smiles and moves away.
Osa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dudar shoots in but Osa avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Osa is trying to break the clinch but Dudar has him pressed against the cage.
Osa content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Dudar is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Osa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dudar is defending well for now.

Osa has Dudar pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Osa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dudar tumbling to the mat - Osa dives into Dudar's guard.

Osa has managed to clinch.

Osa wants the takedown. Dudar is fighting it off but Osa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dudar's guard against the cage.
Dudar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Osa manages to pass to side control.

Osa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Osa lands a nice short elbow.

Osa stands up out of the half guard.

Osa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Osa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dudar has escaped the position, nice work there.
Osa grinds an elbow into Dudar's temple.
Osa has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dudar!

Osa is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dudar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dudar shrugs it off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Dudar gets caught flat footed, as Osa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Osa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dudar's head.
Osa forces his way into half guard.
Osa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Dudar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Osa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dudar sprawls well initially but Osa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Osa decides to stand and escape the position.

Osa moves into the clinch.
Osa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dudar just stands there and leans against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Osa - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Osa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dudar prevents it.
Osa can't break the clinch.
Dudar gets underhooks to prevent Osa's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Osa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Osa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dudar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Osa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Osa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dudar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Osa shoots in looking for a takedown. Dudar tries to sprawl out of it but Osa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dudar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dudar connects with a crisp jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Osa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dudar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Osa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dudar wants to control but Osa postures up.
Osa controlling the position from side mount.
Dudar tries to escape but Osa is in control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Osa scores with punches from side control.
Osa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dudar's shoulder. That is not cool.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Osa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Osa.

And that's the end of the fight!
Adam Osa showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Osa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
