Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayden King (ranked 1944 p4p, 2107 weight class) and Graham Grant (ranked 207 p4p, 224 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Thunder. Grant is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Till I Die by MGK. Graham Grant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayden King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Graham Grant! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grant, pushing him back against the cage.
King pulls guard successfully.
Grant working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Grant controls the pace. King wants to sweep but no luck. Grant landing some decent shots from guard. Grant lands a couple of elbows. King has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. King has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Grant is looking to pass into half guard but King pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now King is in guard.
 Our spies down at at Guerrilla Fight Club 🇺🇸 inform us that Grant has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? King sitting in guard here, content to control. King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Grant is keeping the position for now. King controlling from the top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King looking to pass the guard. King is stalling in the full guard. King trying to control but Grant is working from the bottom.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
King has closed the distance and engaged Grant in a clinch.
King jumps guard.
Grant working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Grant throws an elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Grant's guard. Nice move by King!
King slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grant escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. King prevents Grant from getting back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Grant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
 And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King decides to pull guard. Grant is fighting to break King's control of his arms but King is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Grant missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Grant drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!
Grant is trying to escape and get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant trying to remain calm as King controls from the top position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Grant wants to control but King postures up. King just content to control the position. King trying to control the position but Grant is working away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. King takes a little break here. Grant wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Grant tries to get back to half guard but can't. King happy to just control the position for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
King rushes Grant and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
King has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Grant uses from the top position. King has his hands on Grant's head, controlling the position. Grant throws a big elbow that misses. Grant being controlled here momentarily. King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Grant can do to turn this around? Grant trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. King wants to stand but Grant is controlling the position. King looking for a sweep. Not yet King, not yet. King controls Grant momentarily but Grant frees himself.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Grant shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grant gets slowly back to his feet. Grant is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

King manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Grant postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant stopping the sweep attempt from King. Grant is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag. Grant throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
King wants to control from the top but Grant keeps moving. Grant is looking to sweep but instead, King has passed into half guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant is squirming around, avoiding King's attempts to control the action. Grant working to try and regain half guard.
King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. King has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Grant is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
King manages to capitalize on a mistake by Grant to take his back! King trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Grant doesn't escape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Further stalling from King.
And that's the end of the fight! Jayden King showed his dominance in that final round. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
