The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margarita gets the takedown into side control.
Claxton manages to work his way to half guard, despite Margarita's best efforts.
Margarita is looking for a kimura but Claxton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Margarita to get the leverage.
Claxton is concentrating on defense, preventing Margarita from advancing position.
Margarita lands strikes from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Margarita connects with a nice short shot to Claxton's temple.
Claxton is pressing down on Margarita's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Margarita is posturing up here but Claxton has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Margarita tries to roll out but it's too tight and Margarita has to tap! Slick submission there by Claxton!
