Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jessie Olafsson (ranked 2765 p4p, 3811 weight class) and Scooter Tibbs (ranked 104 p4p, 139 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jessie Olafsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Scooter Tibbs!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olafsson just misses with a punch to the body.
Tibbs with the counter takedown but Olafsson avoids it easily.
We've been told by Olafsson's head coaches at Fighter Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Olafsson looks to score with a jab to the body but Tibbs is just out of range.
Tibbs changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Olafsson. Tibbs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tibbs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Olafsson circles away.
Olafsson lands with a nice body punch.
A big left from Olafsson misses.
And Tibbs tries to counter it with a takedown but Olafsson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Olafsson leaves Tibbs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tibbs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Olafsson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tibbs.

Olafsson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Olafsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tibbs manages to avoid it.

and Tibbs counters with a single leg into guard. Olafsson didn't expect that.
Tibbs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Olafsson wants to stand but Tibbs is controlling the position.
Olafsson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Olafsson tries to get out of the position.
Tibbs's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Tibbs passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tibbs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
You can see the frustration on Olafsson's face as Tibbs controls the position.

Olafsson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Tibbs remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That was a close round but I would say that Jessie Olafsson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Olafsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tibbs moves away.
Tibbs feints the counter takedown.
Olafsson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Tibbs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Olafsson won't be happy with that.
Olafsson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tibbs asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Olafsson pushes Tibbs away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tibbs gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well, with Tibbs on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Olafsson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

That's time! Olafsson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Tibbs.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Olafsson throws a hook to the side of Tibbs's head but Tibbs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tibbs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Olafsson.
No joy there for Olafsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Olafsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tibbs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tibbs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Olafsson defends it well.

and Tibbs counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Olafsson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tibbs manages to pass to side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scooter Tibbs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tibbs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
