Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cecirio Lightning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cabbage McGintee!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
McGintee blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Lightning scores with a nice short uppercut.
McGintee misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lightning lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McGintee.
McGintee throws a punch but it's blocked by Lightning.
Lightning ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lightning no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lightning is trying to control the position but McGintee postures up.
Lightning looking for a guillotine here but McGintee defends easily.
Lightning had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGintee defends it easily.
Lightning looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McGintee trying to control but Lightning is working from the bottom.
McGintee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McGintee is stalling in the full guard.
Lightning preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
McGintee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGintee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGintee wants to control from the top but Lightning keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McGintee trying to control the position from guard on top but Lightning is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lightning is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGintee is aware though and is defending well.
McGintee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
McGintee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McGintee is looking to work some ground and pound but Lightning has wrist control.

Lightning working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGintee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lightning is tightening it up a little... McGintee has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McGintee reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McGintee taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lightning!
