Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kristian Kent (ranked 1942 p4p, 1370 weight class) and Kang Dae Hyun (ranked 234 p4p, 179 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kristian Kent has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kristian Kent seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kang Dae Hyun!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent misses with a body punch
and Kent takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kent throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Dae Hyun counter with a right hand.
Kent throws an off balance right hand
and Dae Hyun holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kent takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dae Hyun lands a body shot in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Kent blocking some punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kent can't break the clinch.

Kent breaks from the clinch.
Dae Hyun drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dae Hyun shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kent is looking to stand back up but Dae Hyun counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kent.
Kent tries to roll over but Dae Hyun keeps him under control.
Dae Hyun is trying to work for a kimura but Kent is defending well.

Dae Hyun moves into full mount! Kent won't be happy about that!
Dae Hyun tries to control but Kent wriggling away.
Dae Hyun is landing with some decent strikes but Kent is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dae Hyun throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Dae Hyun trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kent has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Dae Hyun's lack of action.
Kent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dae Hyun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dae Hyun content to control rather than advance.
Dae Hyun in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kent tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Dae Hyun!

A relieved looking Kang Dae Hyun thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
