Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobo Valdenius (ranked 1165 p4p, 2126 weight class) and Noah Gordon (ranked 150 p4p, 255 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bobo Valdenius has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bobo Valdenius seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noah Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Valdenius.
Valdenius is trying to get an arm triangle but Gordon is defending well.
Valdenius wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gordon keeps working.
Gordon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Valdenius is trying to maintain the position but Gordon is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gordon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Gordon thows a huge punch but Valdenius dodges it nicely.
Valdenius is refusing to be controlled, as Gordon sits in half guard.
Valdenius pushes Gordon off looking to stand but Gordon dives back in and keeps control.
Gordon wants to pass to mount but Valdenius is defending the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gordon connects with a couple of short punches.

Valdenius pulls Gordon in close to prevent any damage.
Valdenius is looking for a triangle but Gordon pushes his legs off easily.

Valdenius wants to improve his position but Gordon is controlling well.

A close round but Noah Gordon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Valdenius moves out of range as Gordon strikes.
Valdenius half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Valdenius goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Valdenius misses with a straight left.
Gordon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Valdenius misses with an uppercut
and Gordon counters with a stiff right hand.
Valdenius pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gordon is out of range and Valdenius settles back down.
Valdenius throws a series of punches but Gordon avoids them all with ease.
Valdenius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Valdenius misses with a lunging right hand
and Gordon counters with a two punch combo.

and Gordon counters with a crisp one two that drops Valdenius! Gordon thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Valdenius to his feet! Valdenius is in big trouble!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gordon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Oh Valdenius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gordon steps in with a hook that catches Valdenius right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gordon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Valdenius looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Gordon!
