Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tevin Shay (ranked 129 p4p, 727 weight class) and Hector Wallace (ranked 23 p4p, 98 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tevin Shay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shay throws a jab when Wallace was well out of range.
Shay lands a lovely overhand right.
Shay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wallace moves away.
It seemed like Wallace was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Wallace cracks Shay with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Shay cracks a nice hook into Wallace's ribs.
Wallace ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Shay scores with a jab.
Wallace gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shay to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Shay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We've been hearing that Shay has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Shay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shay seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wallace is rocked!
Shay lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Wallace! More strikes land and this one is all over! Shay jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
