Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joop Van Der Arts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Adabuwayle! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Arts walks into a straight right hand from Adabuwayle. Nice sprawl there from Adabuwayle as Van Der Arts shoots in. Adabuwayle throws out a counter right but Van Der Arts avoids it with no problem. Adabuwayle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Van Der Arts moves away. Van Der Arts tries to counter with a takedown but Adabuwayle is quick to defend against it. Adabuwayle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Van Der Arts throws a right and a left that both miss. A low kick lands for Adabuwayle.
Joop Van Der Arts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van Der Arts takes a swing at Adabuwayle's ribcage but misses.
Van Der Arts shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Adabuwayle napping and manages to drive through into side control! Adabuwayle tries to get back to half guard but can't. Adabuwayle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Der Arts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Adabuwayle gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adabuwayle is trying is best to control the position here. Van Der Arts is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Van Der Arts definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Van Der Arts wants to stand but Adabuwayle is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adabuwayle working to try and regain half guard.

Van Der Arts with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Van Der Arts throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Adabuwayle because Van Der Arts loaded up on that one.
Van Der Arts looking to secure an arm triangle but Adabuwayle defends it well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adabuwayle can do anything to dispel that myth. Adabuwayle wants to hold on but Van Der Arts pushes him away.
Van Der Arts jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Adabuwayle manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Van Der Arts is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adabuwayle is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Adabuwayle tries to bench press Van Der Arts off him but Van Der Arts keeps the position. Adabuwayle stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Van Der Arts in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Adabuwayle is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
