Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyke Tuytuhlz (ranked 1104 p4p, 815 weight class) and Michael Holmes (ranked 144 p4p, 117 weight class). Tuytuhlz comes to the cage accompanied by Nas - N.Y. State of Mind. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes closes the distance but Tuytuhlz moves to the side
and Tuytuhlz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Holmes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tuytuhlz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Holmes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tuytuhlz.
Holmes walks into a jab.
Holmes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tuytuhlz moves into the clinch.
Holmes utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Tuytuhlz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuytuhlz manages to break the clinch.
Holmes gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Holmes has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Tuytuhlz goes down! Holmes dives on top of him - Tuytuhlz manages to get guard.
Tuytuhlz is rocked!
It looks like Lyke Tuytuhlz has been cut.
Holmes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holmes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Tuytuhlz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holmes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Holmes is pushing down on Tuytuhlz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tuytuhlz is fighting to maintain full guard but Holmes has managed to sneak the leg through.
Holmes is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tuytuhlz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
