Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Adabuwayle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Brandt!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adabuwayle takes a swing at Brandt's ribcage but misses.
Adabuwayle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brandt has Adabuwayle up against the cage in a clinch.
Adabuwayle pushes off an throws an elbow but Brandt leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Brandt has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adabuwayle uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adabuwayle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brandt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adabuwayle tries to avoid it but Brandt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adabuwayle to the ground. Adabuwayle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adabuwayle feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brandts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Michael Brandt has been cut.

Brandt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Adabuwayle throws a series of punches but Brandt avoids them all with ease.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brandt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Adabuwayle throws a looping overhand right but Brandt ducks down to avoid it.

Adabuwayle lands a big uppercut and Brandt crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brandt looks OK. Adabuwayle waves Brandt back to his feet!

Adabuwayle throws a lazy right hand but Brandt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Brandt shoots in looking for a takedown. Adabuwayle tries to sprawl out of it but Brandt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adabuwayle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Abdul Adabuwayle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Brandt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Adabuwayle as he jumps to the side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Brandt has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Abdul Adabuwayle is winning the standup battle so far.
Adabuwayle thuds his right hand into Brandt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Adabuwayle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brandt sprawling to the canvas! Brandt rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Adabuwayle finish him?!

Brandt shoots in for a double leg but Adabuwayle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Brandt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Adabuwayle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brandt's sensitive parts.
Adabuwayle lands a big right hook! Brandt looks hurt but is still standing! Adabuwayle lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Brandt falls down and Adabuwayle dives in with a huge hammer fist! Brandt's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Adabuwayle runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Abdul Adabuwayle!
