Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Bonney (ranked 1338 p4p, 1130 weight class) and Beibitzhan Zhanbolatov (ranked 167 p4p, 138 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Bonney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beibitzhan Zhanbolatov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonney uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zhanbolatov.
Zhanbolatov tests Bonney's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Will Bonney has been cut.
Bonney looks to land a right hand but Zhanbolatov moved out of range.
Zhanbolatov lands a head kick. Bonney smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Zhanbolatov throws the left hand but Bonney avoids the punch easily.
Bonney takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bonney keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zhanbolatov.
The fighters circling - Zhanbolatov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Bonney was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Zhanbolatov.
Bonney slips a straight right by Zhanbolatov.
Beibitzhan Zhanbolatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhanbolatov throws a right hand that misses
and Bonney counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bonney counters with an inside leg kick.
Bonney ducks under a wild hook from Zhanbolatov.
It looked like Bonney was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Zhanbolatov throws a sloppy head kick
and Bonney counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zhanbolatov connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Bonney to the floor! Zhanbolatov dives in looking for the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bonney is not content to let Zhanbolatov control the position.
Zhanbolatov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bonney wants to get back to full guard.
Bonney is trying to control but Zhanbolatov manages to pass to mount!
Zhanbolatov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bonney is trying desperately to improve position.
Zhanbolatov looking to control and managing it successfully.
Zhanbolatov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bonney tries to reverse the position but Zhanbolatov maintains control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Zhanbolatov clobbers Bonney with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zhanbolatov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bonney's hands.
Zhanbolatov throws a shot from downtown. Bonney moves away and avoids it.
Zhanbolatov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Bonney to counter with a crisp jab.
Zhanbolatov misses with an uppercut
and Bonney counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zhanbolatov lands with a shot to the body.
Zhanbolatov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bonney on the side of the head.
Will Bonney's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Zhanbolatov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Zhanbolatov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonney.
We've been told by Bonney's head coaches at The HOMI Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Zhanbolatov misses with a lunging right hand
and Bonney counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bonney takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zhanbolatov missing with a left hand there. Bonney was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A head kick misses from Zhanbolatov.
Zhanbolatov lands a slapping body shot.
Bonney showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zhanbolatov.
Bonney appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bonney attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Zhanbolatov lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bonney sprawling to the canvas. Zhanbolatov follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bonney hang on?
Jeez, Will Bonney's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Will Bonney's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
