Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Lee (ranked 2915 p4p, 3530 weight class) and Rue Tilt (ranked 310 p4p, 354 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rock Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rue Tilt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tilt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Tilt.
Lee drops his hands momentarily and Tilt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tilt throws a sloppy head kick

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tilt won't be happy with that.
Tilt takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Lee controlling the position from side mount.
Lee working the ground and pound but Tilt is defending the strikes.
A lull in the action here.
Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Tilt is looking to reverse the position.

Tilt is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lee is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Lee looking to secure an arm triangle but Tilt defends it well.

Lee lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lee has hold of Tilt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tilt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Tilt but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We've been informed that Tilt has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Tilt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tilt for as long as he can get away with.
Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Tilt is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Lee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tilt's face.

Lee is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Lee. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tilt can do to turn this around?

Rock Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tilt is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lee gets his way!

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Lee is stinking the place up with his stalling.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Tilt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tilt.
Tilt thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lee if he has to take too many more of those.

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tilt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee stands up over Tilt, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tilt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tilt tries to get to full guard but Lee has control of the leg.
Tilt is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard.
Tilt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lee scores with a couple of nice shots.
