Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Braun Westen!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones trying to control the action but Westen is working from the bottom.
Jones is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jones wants to control but Westen is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
