Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Sagapolutele (ranked 2760 p4p, 3563 weight class) and Brenden Mcmillan (ranked 82 p4p, 141 weight class). Sagapolutele comes to the cage accompanied by Haka War Dance. George Sagapolutele has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Sagapolutele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brenden Mcmillan! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Darius Henderson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Sagapolutele misses. Mcmillan misses the shot to the body. A big right from Sagapolutele misses. Mcmillan scores with a sloppy right hand. Sagapolutele should have avoided that one. A solid leg kick lands there for Sagapolutele.
Mcmillan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sagapolutele at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Sagapolutele. Mcmillan scores with a punch to the head. Sagapolutele throws a right hand that Mcmillan ducks under and follows up with a left that Mcmillan also avoids with ease. Sagapolutele misses with a low kick. Nice straight punches there by Sagapolutele. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sagapolutele. A low kick from Sagapolutele is predictable there
and Mcmillan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sagapolutele won't be happy with that. Sagapolutele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcmillan on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sagapolutele is trying to escape the position but Mcmillan is controlling the position. Mcmillan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sagapolutele keeps working.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Sagapolutele wants to get back to his feet but Mcmillan drags him back down. Mcmillan is looking to take a break and control but Sagapolutele is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sagapolutele is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mcmillan asserts his dominance and retains side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. A lull in the action here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sagapolutele is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mcmillan asserts his dominance and retains side control.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sagapolutele looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sagapolutele throws a sloppy head kick and Mcmillan moves out of range easily. Mcmillan with the counter takedown but Sagapolutele avoids it easily. Mcmillan misses with a hook
and Sagapolutele counters with a straight right hand. Mcmillan checks a leg kick. And Mcmillan tries to counter it with a takedown but Sagapolutele pushes his down on his head and steps out. Mcmillan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sagapolutele gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mcmillan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sagapolutele wants to get back to his feet but Mcmillan passes into half guard.

Mcmillan seems to be working for a kimura but Sagapolutele defends the submission attempt. Mcmillan wants to pass the guard but Sagapolutele is defending well.

Sagapolutele on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sagapolutele tries to get out of the position.

Mcmillan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sagapolutele sees it coming and defends easily. Sagapolutele is staying active underneath Mcmillan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mcmillan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sagapolutele has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mcmillan is keen to just control but Sagapolutele is a slippery customer. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brenden Mcmillan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sagapolutele tries to score with a low kick but Mcmillan moves his leg out of the way. Sagapolutele throws a nice outside leg kick. Sagapolutele throws a lazy uppercut
and Mcmillan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sagapolutele takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sagapolutele misses with a leg kick and Mcmillan counters with a two punch combo.
Mcmillan gets a double leg takedown into Sagapolutele's guard. Mcmillan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Brenden Mcmillan has got the better of the ground game so far. Sagapolutele working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mcmillan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcmillan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mcmillan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Mcmillan stops Sagapolutele from standing up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mcmillan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sagapolutele is keeping the position for now. Sagapolutele keeping moving, preventing Mcmillan from controlling successfully. Mcmillan tries to free his leg and advance position but Sagapolutele is retaining full guard.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. George Sagapolutele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcmillan connects with a body shot. Sagapolutele throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Mcmillan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A head kick by Sagapolutele misses
and Mcmillan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mcmillan trying to control from half guard but Sagapolutele is working away. Mcmillan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan controlling his opponent. A nice elbow there by Mcmillan. Mcmillan looking to control and managing it successfully. Sagapolutele is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. You get the feeling that Sagapolutele really doesn't like being in this position too much.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mcmillan thowing shots but they're missing. Mcmillan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcmillan goes for an armbar but Sagapolutele turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sagapolutele. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brenden Mcmillan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Mcmillan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sagapolutele. Brenden Mcmillan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sagapolutele avoids the body shot from Mcmillan.
Sagapolutele lands a jab. Sagapolutele throws a jab when Mcmillan was well out of range. Mcmillan throws out a counter right but Sagapolutele avoids it with no problem. Sagapolutele cracks Mcmillan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Mcmillan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sagapolutele. Mcmillan swinging wildly here.

and Mcmillan counters into the clinch. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcmillan misses with a hook to the ribs.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Mcmillan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sagapolutele gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Mcmillan is working Sagapolutele over against the cage. Mcmillan swings wildly with an uppercut but Sagapolutele uses good head movement to avoid it. Sagapolutele tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mcmillan avoids it. George Sagapolutele has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mcmillan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sagapolutele after a bit of a struggle. George Sagapolutele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brenden Mcmillan. Mcmillan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mcmillan tries to throw a body punch but Sagapolutele avoids it by throwing Mcmillan back against the cage. Mcmillan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Mcmillan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mcmillan manages to end up in side control. Mcmillan controlling the position.
Mcmillan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mcmillan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan wants to control but Sagapolutele is keeping him busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mcmillan in side control, just content to control the action for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Let's hope that Mcmillan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
