The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from P Cruz.
Roussel throws out a loose jab but P Cruz uses good head movement to avoid it.
P Cruz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Roussel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. P Cruz is in Roussel's guard.
Roussel wants to sweep here but P Cruz controlling him for the moment.

and P Cruz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Roussel's guard.
