Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Dochenko (ranked 4427 p4p, 21699 weight class) and Kain Mack (ranked 343 p4p, 389 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Dochenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 35 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kain Mack!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Mack misses.

We've been informed that Mack has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kain Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dochenko jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Mack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dochenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dochenko's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dochenko seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mack for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dochenko connects with a nice short shot to Mack's temple.
