Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liu Xan (ranked 2467 p4p, 22703 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Liu Xan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 118 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xan scores with a one two! Nastula had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Xan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Xan stuffs the takedown attempt from Nastula. Nastula gets slowly back to his feet.
Xan misses with a wild combination.
Nastula's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Xan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nastula scrambles back to his feet.
Xan throws a shot to the body.
Nastula tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Xan defends well and Nastula ends up having to push Xan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Xan there.
Xan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Xan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nastula eats them both and turns towards Xan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Xan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Xan lands the left hand.
Nastula is rocked!
Xan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nastula shoots in but Xan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Liu Xan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Nastula.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Xan connects with a body shot.
Nastula tries to clinch up.
Liu Xan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Xan lands a two punch combo.
Nastula fails with the takedown
and Xan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Liu Xan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Xan throws a series of strikes that have Nastula backpedaling.
Nastula is still on wobbly legs! Can Xan finish him?
Xan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Xan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nastula doesn't seem bothered though.
Nastula seems to have recovered his senses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xan tries to bum rush Nastula with a series of wild strikes but Nastula uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Xan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Xan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nastula looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Xan connects with a right that clearly hurt Nastula. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Xan proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Nastula collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liu Xan!
