Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between War Monger (ranked 2413 p4p, 4059 weight class) and Tim Cahill (ranked 278 p4p, 390 weight class). War Monger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tim Cahill's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, War Monger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Cahill! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Monger is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cahill goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Monger rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cahill's guard! Nice work there by Monger! Cahill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Monger's guard.

Cahill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Monger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cahill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cahill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Monger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cahill defends well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cahill stands and throws Monger's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cahill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cahill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Monger keeps working. Cahill working away.
Cahill is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Monger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cahill trying to control the action but Monger is working from the bottom. Monger tries to buck Cahill off but Cahill is having none of it. Cahill wants to control but Monger is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monger is trying to get back to half guard. Cahill laying and praying for a moment but Monger takes advantage and regains half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Monger wants to control but Cahill is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cahill is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Monger has managed to free his arm - good work. Monger is trying to control but can't.
Cahill is keen to just control but Monger is a slippery customer.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cahill wants to control but Monger is keeping him busy. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Monger misses with a series of wild punches.
Cahill has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
 It looks like Tim Cahill has been cut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cahill's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Monger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cahill scrambles back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tim Cahill will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tim Cahill's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Monger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cahill to the mat! Cahill manages to get full guard. Monger looking to pass the guard.
Cahill looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Monger has picked Cahill up and slammed him! Cahill can't keep hold of the triangle and Monger manages to pass to side control! Tim Cahill has got the better of the ground game so far. Cahill is trying to improve his position. Cahill sneaks back into half guard. Cahill wants to improve his position but Monger is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Monger is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Monger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Monger wants to take a breather but Cahill is having none of it. Cahill is trying to control but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cahill slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Monger stays in close to Cahill's body and controls the position. Cahill keeping moving, preventing Monger from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Monger sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Monger stands and steps away. Cahill gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Monger scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Monger connects with a looping right hand.
Cahill gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. War Monger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Monger lands a two punch combo.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cahill shoots in for a takedown but Monger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Monger slaps away a takedown attempt from Cahill, before circling back to the center of the mat. Monger connects with a jab. Monger's corner calls for a 1-2. Monger obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. War Monger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab from Monger finds it's way through Cahill's defenses. Monger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Monger feints and as Cahill raises his hands in defense, Monger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cahill is looking for a triangle but Monger pushes his legs off easily.

Cahill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Monger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Monger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Monger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Monger looking to pass the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Monger is stalling in the full guard. Cahill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
War Monger dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tim Cahill's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Monger thuds a left hand into Cahill's body. Cahill has his takedown stuffed and Monger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monger shoots in and gets a takedown into Cahill's guard. Cahill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Monger controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Monger's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Monger controls the position from side control. Monger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cahill can do to turn this around? Cahill looks to move to half guard but instead Monger has passed into mount! Damn!
Monger looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Monger moves to back control.

Monger looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Cahill is controlling Monger 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Monger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cahill defends well. Cahill won't allow Monger to sweep him here. Monger is trying to keep Cahill in close.
Monger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cahill is one step ahead there.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Monger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cahill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cahill trying to control the position from guard on top but Monger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Monger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cahill is fighting to break Monger's control of his arms but Monger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Monger keeping moving, preventing Cahill from controlling successfully. Monger looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Monger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cahill did well to prevent Monger getting side control.
And that's the end of the fight! War Monger showed his dominance in that final round. Well Monger has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
