Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 65 - 100 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Teddy Dalrymple!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt.
Dalrymple is looking for the big counter here.
Dalrymple lunges at Salvacion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvacion's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dalrymple bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salvacion's head backwards.
Dalrymple bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salvacion has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dalrymple.
Dalrymple cracks Salvacion with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Salvacion tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dalrymple pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Salvacion is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teddy Dalrymple!
