Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Gordon (ranked 3922 p4p, 2154 weight class) and Graham Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant has chosen Till I Die by MGK as his entrance music. Graham Grant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Graham Grant!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grant tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gordon is in Grant's guard.
Grant trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gordon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've been hearing good reports from Gordon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Grant flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Grant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gordon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gordon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Grant has managed to free his arm - good work.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Gordon! Grant is hurt baaadly! Gordon is firing away with more strikes - Grant is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
