Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between MF Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Booth has chosen Face the pain as his entrance music. Andy Booth is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, MF Doom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Booth!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doom tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Booth fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Doom throws a head kick but Booth moves out of range.
Doom tries to bum rush Booth with a series of wild strikes but Booth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Booth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Booth tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Doom tries to close the distance and clinch but Booth swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Booth clinches but Doom breaks the clinch

and Doom counters by clinching up.
Doom connects with a nasty looking knee right to Booth's face.
Doom utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Booth is trying to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doom tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Booth misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Booth.
Doom just leaning against Booth, taking a breather.

Doom blocks an elbow strike from Booth.
Doom misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Booth.
Doom throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Booth trying to control the position but instead, Doom has worked for underhooks and has pushed Booth into the cage.
Doom slowing the pace effectively.
Doom lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Doom tries to land a knee to the head but Booth blocks with his arms.
Doom tries to circle away but Booth has him pinned against the cage.
Booth's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Doom manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Booth is trying to drag Doom to the mat but Doom just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Doom lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Doom using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Booth has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Doom misses with a body punch.

Booth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
MF Doom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doom circles away from the clinch attempt
and Doom counters with a two punch combo.
Booth tries to bum rush Doom with a series of wild strikes but Doom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Booth throws a combination that misses
and Doom counters with a one-two to the body.

Doom gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Doom has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Doom is trying to force a seperation but Booth has the dominant position.
Booth blocks the elbow strike.
Booth has Doom pressed against the cage, preventing Doom from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Doom's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Booth is trying to maintain a safe position but Doom gets an underhook and turns Booth into the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Booth is trying to break the clinch but Doom has him pressed against the cage.

Booth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Doom rushes Booth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Doom looking to stall.
Doom effectively controlling the action here.
Booth works on Doom's body with a couple of short punches.
Booth tries to break free but Doom pushes him back against the cage.
Booth misses with a short punch on the inside.

Booth pulls guard.
Booth manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Booth breaks from Doom's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Doom is squirming around, avoiding Booth's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Booth dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


It's a brutal combination of punches from Booth! Doom is backing up but he can't get away as Booth lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Doom and ends the fight. Great knockout.
