Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Ereld (ranked 25997 p4p, 4183 weight class) and Ndidi Okeke (ranked 454 p4p, 399 weight class). Okeke comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrence Ereld! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ndidi Okeke! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okeke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ndidi Okeke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Okeke misses with a double jab.
Ereld tries for a takedown but Okeke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Okeke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ereld looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Okeke scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Okeke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Okeke wants it to stay on the feet.
Okeke gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ereld blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Okeke misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Okeke is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terrence Ereld. That's going to take a lot out of him. Okeke throws a head punch that misses. Okeke pushes Ereld back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Okeke gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Okeke is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Ereld keeping moving, preventing Okeke from controlling successfully. Okeke showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ereld tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Okeke controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A left lands for Okeke. Okeke connects with a body shot. Ereld throws a right and a left that Okeke avoids nicely. Ereld tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ereld ducks under a wild hook from Okeke. An attempted straight right counter from Ereld misses the target. Okeke tries for a takedown but Ereld sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Okeke lands a jab.
Okeke dives in and scores a takedown into Ereld's guard. Okeke's corner is telling him to maintain position. Okeke looking to pass the guard. Okeke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Okeke might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Okeke trying to control but Ereld is working from the bottom.
Okeke drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ereld dives on top into guard.
Ereld content to stall in guard here.
Okeke is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ereld presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Okeke swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Ereld's face as he tries to break the clinch. Okeke working some nice short punches in the clinch. Okeke misses with a hook from the clinch. Okeke stalling against the cage.
Okeke dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Okeke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ereld prevents a body shot from Okeke. Okeke lands a shoulder strike. Ereld looking for a takedown. Okeke effectively controlling the action here. Ereld jumps guard but Okeke turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Okeke as Ereld tries to tie him up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ndidi Okeke dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Okeke scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Okeke is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ereld sees it coming and defends easily. Okeke keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Okeke's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Okeke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Okeke wants to take a breather but Ereld is having none of it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Okeke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Okeke is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ereld has managed to free his arm - good work. Ereld trying to control from the bottom.
Okeke is controlling the pace.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Okeke.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ereld tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okeke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Okeke sizes up Ereld with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ereld goes for a double leg but Okeke avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Okeke continues to drive forward. Okeke tries to score a body lock takedown but Ereld shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Okeke works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Okeke wants to pass the guard but Ereld is keeping the position. Okeke trying to control the position from guard on top but Ereld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ereld is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ereld is trying to control the position but Okeke postures up. Okeke has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ereld being controlled here, momentarily.
Okeke postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ereld is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Okeke, into his guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ereld stops Okeke from standing up.
Ereld drops back looking for a leg! Okeke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Okeke manages to kick Ereld off! Ereld jumps back into Okeke's guard. Okeke wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ereld manages to pass to side control. Ereld stops Okeke from getting back to his feet.
Ereld wants to pass to mount but Okeke is defending the position. Okeke wants to get back to his feet.
Okeke keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Okeke is looking to escape.
Okeke kicks Ereld off and gets back to his feet. Okeke dodges the punch combination from Ereld.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Okeke tries to bum rush Ereld with a series of wild strikes but Ereld uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ereld with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okeke to score with a decent uppercut. Ereld needs to keep his hands up - Okeke had a free shot at his head there. Okeke connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice jab there from Okeke. The fight stays on the outside here - Ereld looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Okeke ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Okeke misses with a body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ndidi Okeke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position. Okeke lands with a left to the head. Okeke goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ereld prevents it.
Ereld tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Okeke smiles and moves away.
Ereld misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Okeke shoots in and drives through. Ereld sprawls well. Ereld misses with a body kick. Jab, jab by Okeke - just one landing.
Okeke shoots in and bounces Ereld off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ereld keeping moving, preventing Okeke from controlling successfully. Okeke won't allow Ereld to sweep him here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Okeke controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Okeke trying to control but Ereld is working from the bottom. Okeke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Okeke controls the position.
Okeke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Okeke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Okeke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ereld throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Ereld struggling a bit here. Ereld is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Okeke is controlling the pace.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Okeke is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Okeke is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Ereld is defending against the submission attempts here by Okeke.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ereld wants to get back to full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ereld is refusing to be controlled, as Okeke sits in half guard.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Okeke lands a glancing blow to the side of Ereld's head. Ndidi Okeke seems to be getting the better of the standup. Okeke lands with an uppercut that bounces Ereld off the cage and back into range. Okeke connects with a right hand. Ereld shakes it off. Ereld has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ereld there as he acknowledges the shot. Okeke cracks Ereld with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Okeke scores with a sloppy right hand. Ereld should have avoided that one. Okeke fails to land the takedown. Terrence Ereld has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Terrence Ereld has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ndidi Okeke. Ereld misses with a low kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Ndidi Okeke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Okeke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ndidi Okeke! A less than humble Ndidi Okeke misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
