Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasil Dankovich (ranked 3092 p4p, 2861 weight class) and Kevin Taylor (ranked 314 p4p, 303 weight class). Kevin Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasil Dankovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dankovich throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dankovich takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Vasil Dankovich has been cut.
Taylor slips a jab from Dankovich.
Taylor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dankovich.
Taylor scores with the left hand. Dankovich knows he should have avoided that one.
Dankovich throws a looping overhand right but Taylor ducks down to avoid it.
Taylor's corner calls for a 1-2. Taylor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Taylor misses with a few strikes there.
A swing and a miss from Dankovich.
Dankovich avoids the body shot from Taylor.
Taylor misses with a straight left.
Decent striking displayed by Dankovich there.
It looks like Kevin Taylor has been cut.
Dankovich lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taylor looking to score a takedown here. Dankovich is defending well but Taylor drives through and ends up in Dankovich's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Taylor works his way into side control.
Dankovich wants to control but Taylor postures up.
My spies in MMAH League and Warrior Nation inform me that Taylor has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor stands up and beckons Dankovich to his feet.
Taylor lands a jab.
Dankovich throws an overhand right that lands on Taylor's shoulder, as Taylor tries to avoid the shot.
Taylor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Taylor misses with a lunging right hand
and Dankovich counters with a good, hard body kick but Taylor shrugs it off.
Taylor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dankovich throws out the jab.
Dankovich steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taylor.
A jab from Taylor finds it's way through Dankovich's defenses.
Taylor takes the fight into the clinch.

Taylor blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Taylor takes a shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dankovich.
Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Taylor rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dankovich counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Dankovich misses with a kick to the body.
Dankovich sends Taylor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dankovich is motioning to the referee to let Taylor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Taylor is rocked!
Dankovich darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Taylor's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Dankovich before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vasil Dankovich!
A very excited looking Vasil Dankovich made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
