Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaro Key (ranked 1060 p4p, 1132 weight class) and Tyson King (ranked 109 p4p, 115 weight class). Key comes into the arena with HonestKey- The Unseen blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaro Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson King! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key misses with a hook
and Key takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. King throws a looping overhand right but Key ducks down to avoid it. Key feinted with a counter takedown. King throws a body shot but no joy. King's coach down at Ragnarok\'s Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on King's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
King has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Key has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. King fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
King makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
King drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Key working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Key passes King's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Key seems to be looking for submissions.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Key doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Key manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Key landing with the ground and pound. Key keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of King's head. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Key. Key trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Key throwing strikes from guard but King blocks nicely. Key tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Key. Key working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Key postures up.
King has control of Key's left arm, preventing Key from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King keeping moving, preventing Key from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Key throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Key is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. Key slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. King avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Key has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Key throwing strikes but missing. Key trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Key is fighting to break King's control of his arms but King is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Key lands a couple of digs. King trying to keep a closed guard but Key is proving a slippery customer.
Key postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Key can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Key lands a couple of elbows. Key throws a big elbow that misses. King controls Key momentarily but Key frees himself.
Key thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. King wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. King keeping moving, preventing Key from controlling successfully. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Key's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Key working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Key trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.

Oh but King is tightening it up a little... Key has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Key reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Key taps out! Nice BJJ there by King!
