Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mursk Ispa (ranked 1880 p4p, 1461 weight class) and Ovaltine Jenkins (ranked 227 p4p, 194 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mursk Ispa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ovaltine Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ispa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ispa lands a head shot.
Jenkins moves out of range of the body kick.

Donk. Ispa catches Jenkins right on the button with a cross.
Ispa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ispa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jenkins.
Ispa throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Ispa misses the target.
And Jenkins tries to counter it with a takedown but Ispa pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ispa moves into the clinch successfully.
Ispa will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jenkins up against the cage.
Jenkins is trying to drag Ispa to the mat but Ispa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jenkins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ispa uses from the top position.
Ispa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ispa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jenkins swivels and escapes.
A big right from Ispa misses.
Crunch! Ispa slams his shin into Jenkins's torso.
Jenkins looks to land a left hand but Ispa moved out of range nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Jenkins. No joy for Ispa on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mursk Ispa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ispa gets a clinch.
Jenkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ispa walks away with a smile on his face. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ispa tries to close the distance and clinch but Jenkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jenkins on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Ispa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jenkins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jenkins manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jenkins drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ispa throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jenkins blocks it with crossed arms.
Jenkins is trying to pull guard but Ispa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Jenkins avoids the body shot from Ispa.
Ispa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jenkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jenkins now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A head kick lands from Ispa that sends Jenkins to the canvas. Jenkins tries to scramble back to his feet but Ispa brings him back down into side control.
Jenkins is rocked!
It looks like Ovaltine Jenkins has been cut.
Ispa tries to stand but Jenkins controls the position and pulls Ispa into his guard.
Jenkins is still in real trouble! Can Ispa finish him?

Jenkins seems to have recovered his senses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jenkins has his foot on Ispa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ispa works his way back into a safe position though.

As Ispa backs off Jenkins throws a huge counter combo but Ispa manages to avoid it all.

and Jenkins counters with a low kick, right behind Ispa 's knee.
Ispa looks to land a body kick but Jenkins moved away.
Jenkins doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ispa throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Jenkins to counter with a crisp jab.
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses.
Jenkins moves out of range of the strikes.

Ispa scores with a hook to the body. Jenkins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ispa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jenkins.
Ispa jabs Jenkins right on the nose. Jenkins blinks but takes it well.
Ispa throws a low kick but Jenkins avoids it.
Jenkins throws out a counter right but Ispa avoids it with no problem.
Ispa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jenkins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ispa lands a nice shot that snaps Jenkins's head back.
Ispa delivers a nice body kick.
Ispa throws a body punch but Jenkins moves out of range.
Ispa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ispa circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jenkins drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ispa follows Jenkins to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
