Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santichai Iamthuam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob Song!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iamthuam throws an overhand right that lands on Song's shoulder, as Song tries to avoid the shot.
Song keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Song shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Iamthuam napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Song misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Song works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Song has hold of Iamthuam's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Iamthuam tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Song cranks the arm and Iamthuam screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Iamthuam, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
