Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Cocaine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pacho Pique!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cocaine throws a series of punches but Pique moves out of range.
Cocaine swinging wildly here.
Cocaine misses with the combination.
Pique is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pique misses with a hook.
A slow jab from Cocaine misses its intended target.
Pique wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cocaine looks to land a combination but Pique avoids it well.
Cocaine scores with a head kick. Pique tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Cocaine closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pique tries to pull guard but Cocaine won't allow it.
Cocaine has a couple of punches blocked by Pique.
Pique fails to pull guard.
Cocaine misses with some punches.
Cocaine misses with a knee to the head.
Pique tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chris Cocaine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pacho Pique.
Cocaine jumps guard and drags Pique to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pique chips away with some ground and pound.
Pique with a nice head shot there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pique is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pique keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cocaine's head.
Cocaine is rocked!
Pique cracks Cocaine with a solid left hand.
Oh Cocaine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pique wants to control from the top but Cocaine keeps moving.
Pique chips away with some ground and pound.
Pique loads up on a big left hand. Cocaine felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pique looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cocaine can't hide his disappointment, as Pique celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pacho Pique!
