Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Mash (ranked 2993 p4p, 3161 weight class) and Xavi Yurchon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yurchon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. X-Men 97 Intro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Mash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Xavi Yurchon!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurchon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mash as he avoids it easily.
Mash gets tackled into the cage by Yurchon. Yurchon maintains the clinch.
Yurchon is trying to pull guard but Mash has him pressed against the cage.
Yurchon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mash smiles and moves away.
Andrei Mash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavi Yurchon.
Mash throws the left hand but Yurchon avoids the punch easily.
Yurchon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mash defends well and Yurchon ends up having to push Mash into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Mash misses its target.
Mash misses with a hook.
Nice takedown defense from Mash. No joy for Yurchon on that attempt.
Yurchon closes the distance and clinches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mash.

Mash gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Mash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yurchon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yurchon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mash.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Yurchon.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yurchon is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mash is trying to escape and Yurchon transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mash is forced to tap! Nice work there by Yurchon! Very nice indeed!
