Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Njord Gunnar (ranked 3151 p4p, 2494 weight class) and Corey Banks (ranked 295 p4p, 241 weight class). Banks comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Camila Cabello - Havana (Audio) ft. Young Thug kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corey Banks!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Banks misses the target.
Gunnar tries to clinch but Banks moves out of range.
Banks throws a right hand that Gunnar ducks under and follows up with a left that Gunnar also avoids with ease.
Gunnar looks to land a combination but Banks avoids it well.
Banks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gunnar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been told by Gunnar's head coaches at Deathsquad that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gunnar clinches with his opponent.
Banks is trying to force a seperation but Gunnar has the dominant position.
Gunnar tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gunnar misses with a punch to the body.
Banks blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gunnar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banks tries to break free but Gunnar pushes him back against the cage.
Gunnar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Gunnar is pushing Banks up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Gunnar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Banks's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gunnar slowing the pace effectively.
Gunnar throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Banks wants to break free but Gunnar has control.
Gunnar pushes off an throws an elbow but Banks leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Gunnar misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gunnar is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Gunnar misses with a short punch on the inside.
Banks blocks a body shot from Gunnar.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gunnar.
Banks has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Banks manages to break the clinch.
Gunnar slips a straight right by Banks.
Banks throws out a loose jab but Gunnar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gunnar is looking for a counter combo.
Banks stalks Gunnar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gunnar's face. Gunnar staggers backwards, shaken.
Gunnar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Gunnar looks for the body kick but Banks saw that one coming.
Gunnar gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Gunnar tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Banks is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Gunnar buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Gunnar!! Gunnar is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Banks throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corey Banks!
