Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Martin (ranked 4928 p4p, 4929 weight class) and Ernest Mason (ranked 414 p4p, 415 weight class). Ernest Mason is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Erick Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernest Mason! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason swings away with a leg kick that misses. Mason misses with a looping right. Martin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mason looks to score with a jab to the body but Martin is just out of range. Mason misses with an uppercut. Martin saw that one coming. Martin blocks a head kick by Mason.
It looked like Martin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Mason tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mason moves out of range of the body kick from Martin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Mason throws a poor cross that misses
and Mason takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mason looking to land some kicks to the body here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mason misses the jab. Martin throwing a counter right hand but Mason manages to avoid it. Mason throws a push kick but Martin slaps the foot to one side. Mason jabs Martin to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mason takes one to the chin there. Mason finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Mason misses the target. A nice leg kick lands there from Martin. Martin throws a head kick that half lands.
Martin throws a leg kick which misses Mason's front leg but catches the back leg as Mason tries to avoid it. Martin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin lands a slapping body shot.
Martin looks to score with a jab to the body but Mason is just out of range. Mason flicks out a counter leg kick but Martin steps away. Mason looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Mason pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Martin is looking to counter punch. This has been an exciting period of action! A chopping leg kick lands by Martin. Martin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mason looks to land a left hand but Martin moved out of range nicely. Martin thinks about countering with a body kick. A good leg kick by Martin. Mason misses with a low kick.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason throws a jab but it's blocked by Martin. Martin works Mason's body with a nice hook. Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mason sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mason swings for the body but Martin moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Martin. Martin lands a right hook to the body.
Mason throws a sloppy body shot
and Martin counters with a nice leg kick. Martin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A little feinted left hand from Martin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mason swings away with a body shot that misses
and Martin counters with a stiff right hand. Mason misses with a right hand and Martin counters with an inside leg kick.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mason looks like he wants to counter punch here. Martin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Masons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Martin lands a nice shot that snaps Mason's head back.
Mason misses with an uppercut. Mason checks the leg kick nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mason scores with a hook to the body. Martin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mason blocks a low kick nicely. Mason throws out a counter right but Martin avoids it with no problem. Martin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mason. Martin throwing a counter right hand but Mason manages to avoid it. Mason gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Martin just misses with a punch to the body.
Martin backing away here, and Mason unleashes a leg kick that just misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Erick Martin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mason misses with a wild body shot. Mason misses with a hook. Martin ducked under it nicely. Martin is looking to slow Mason down with leg kicks. Martin misses with a straight left. Martin motions for Mason to come forward. Martin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Martin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Martin misses with a hook to the body

 That's one minute gone in the round. Mason moves out of range of the leg kick from Martin. Mason's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Martin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Martin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mason is out of range and Martin settles back down. Martin throws a leg kick but Mason checks it. Mason throws out a counter right but Martin avoids it with no problem. Mason ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mason takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Martin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mason - the referee stops the clock and Martin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mason. Martin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Mason keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin connects with a jab. Mason throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Mason might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Martin has got the better of the exchanges. Mason fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Martin is out of range. Martin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Martin lands a head kick. Mason smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Mason scoring well with a low kick there.

and Martin counters with a low kick, right behind Mason 's knee. Nice shot by Mason. Martin misses the body punch and Mason counters with a straight right hand. A lazy body kick from Martin and Mason counters with a nice body shot. Martin lands with an overhand left. Crunch! Martin slams his shin into Mason's torso. Mason misses with a kick to the body and Martin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason looks to score with a jab to the body but Martin is just out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martin connects with a nice looking jab.
Mason closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mason misses the shot to the body. Martin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Martin throws a nice outside leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. Mason does a little dance to reset his feet. Martin avoids the body shot from Mason.
A counter left hand to the body from Martin misses its target. Martin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mason. That did some damage! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Erick Martin will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Martin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mason counters with a body kick. Erick Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin pushes Mason away with a front kick. Mason connects with a body shot that sends Martin's belly button to the back. Martin misses with a body punch
and Mason counters with a low kick, right behind Martin 's knee. Martin misses with a left hand and Mason counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 It looks like Erick Martin has been cut. Mason feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Martins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Mason swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mason lands with an uppercut that bounces Martin off the cage and back into range. Martin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mason takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mason goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A counter left hand to the body from Martin misses its target. A low kick from Mason misses and Martin counters with a left to the body. Mason throws the kick towards the body but Martin avoids it. Martin fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mason just manages to avoid it. Mason jabbing away but nothing is landing. Martin throws a leg kick but Mason sees it coming and moves out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin lands a nice looking body shot.
Mason paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A jab from Martin misses. Martin throws a chopping leg kick but Mason manages to avoid taking any serious damage. An inside leg kick from Mason misses. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mason has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mason and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Martin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mason. Erick Martin is winning the standup battle so far. Martin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mason keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin connects with an inside leg kick. Mason throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mason throws a looping overhand right but Martin ducks down to avoid it. Martin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mason throws a low kick but Martin avoids it. Martin thumps Mason with a low kick. Good work by Martin as he checks the leg kick. Martin looks to land a body kick but Mason moved away. Martin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Martin moves out of range as Mason throws a body kick.
Martin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. A slow jab from Martin misses its intended target. Mason scores with a decent looking hook. Martin scores with a hook. Good work by Mason as he checks the leg kick. Mason uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Martin. Mason misses with an uppercut
and Martin counters with a thumping low kick. Martin checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ernest Mason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mason throws a leg kick that is checked and Martin counters with a nice uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erick Martin. Well Martin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
