Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Kogos (ranked 2104 p4p, 1297 weight class) and Jose Castellanos (ranked 231 p4p, 172 weight class). Paulo Kogos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Kogos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Castellanos!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castellanos connects with a jab.
Kogos moves out of range of the strikes.
Castellanos scoring well with a low kick there.
Castellanos cracks Kogos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Paulo Kogos has been cut.
Castellanos scores with a sloppy right hand. Kogos should have avoided that one.
Castellanos misses with an uppercut. Kogos saw that one coming.
Kogos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Castellanos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kogos shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Castellanos pounces like a tiger and cracks Kogos with a vicious hook! Kogos is down but not out! Castellanos follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jose Castellanos!
