Meridius has chosen “Remember the Name” – Fort Minor as his entrance music. Maximus Meridius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ramirez shoots in looking for a takedown but Meridius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ramirez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Meridius rushes Ramirez and presses him up against the cage.
Ramirez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
