Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thorvald Nansen (ranked 4350 p4p, 3558 weight class) and Raleigh St. Clair (ranked 395 p4p, 354 weight class). Nansen comes to the cage accompanied by Benny Jamz - Torden. Raleigh St. Clair has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Thorvald Nansen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thorvald Nansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raleigh St. Clair!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nansen slips a straight right by St. Clair.
Nansen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nansen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
St. Clair is looking for a sweep.
Nansen trying to control the action but St. Clair is working from the bottom.
St. Clair is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nansen works to advance to full mount. St. Clair defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nansen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force St. Clair to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so St. Clair shrugs it off.
Nansen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

St. Clair tries to get back to half guard but can't.
St. Clair tries to improve his position but Nansen has taken his back! Nansen has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will St. Clair tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Nansen pushes St. Clair away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
