Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adelino Soares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 57 - 85 - 20, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares clinches up against the cage.
Mibangon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Soares breaks from the clinch.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Soares closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mibangon circles away.
Soares looks for the body kick but Mibangon saw that one coming.
Soares rushes Mibangon and presses him up against the cage.

Soares pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon avoids the head kick by Soares.
Mibangon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mibangon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Soares circles away.
Soares is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mibangon steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Mibangon dodges the punch combination from Soares.
Soares lands a big shot that drops Mibangon! Can he finish him?

It looks like Minatay Mibangon has been cut.
Mibangon is trying to keep Soares in close.
Soares has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mibangon is proving hard to escape from.
Mibangon controls Soares momentarily but Soares frees himself.

Mibangon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Soares slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Soares would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Soares is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Soares tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Soares fails with a takedown attempt.

Soares thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mibangon if he has to take too many more of those.
Mibangon gets tackled into the cage by Soares. Soares maintains the clinch.
Soares unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mibangon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Soares has been working on his balance at UnderDawg Fight Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mibangon.

Soares is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Mibangon looks winded!
Soares pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Soares shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mibangon defends it nicely.

Soares pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Soares knocks Mibangon to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Mibangon is still in real trouble! Can Soares finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mibangon is trying to control Soares's posture but Soares avoids it.
Soares staying calm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Adelino Soares dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Minatay Mibangon's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Soares steps in with a hook that catches Mibangon right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Soares follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mibangon looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adelino Soares!
After winning the bout, Adelino Soares thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
