Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kane Tatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshinobu Tokugawa!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokugawa throws a sloppy head kick and Tatum moves out of range easily.
Tatum tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tokugawa defends well and Tatum ends up having to push Tokugawa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tatum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tokugawa looking for a takedown.
Tatum is pressed up against the cage. Tokugawa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tatum down to the mat. Tatum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tatum dives in and scores a takedown into Tokugawa's guard.
Tokugawa can't keep his opponent in guard - Tatum advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tokugawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tatum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Still in half guard, Tatum seems content to control.
Tokugawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tokugawa flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tokugawa is not content to let Tatum control the position.
Tokugawa wants to improve his position but Tatum is controlling well.
Tatum passes into side control, despite Tokugawa's attempt to control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tokugawa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tokugawa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tatum wants to control but Tokugawa is keeping him busy.
Tokugawa is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tatum has an Americana. Tokugawa didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tatum is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tatum hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kane Tatum!
