Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Shackleton (ranked 4280 p4p, 4279 weight class) and Hikaru Yamada (ranked 294 p4p, 295 weight class). Yamada comes into a darkened arena with his song building. To The Infinity Castle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ulysses Shackleton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hikaru Yamada! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A big right from Shackleton misses. Yamada swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Shackleton throws an off balance right hand
letting Yamada counter with a right hand. Yamada connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Yamada bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Yamada takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the body from Shackleton misses and Yamada counters with a lovely straight right hand! Shackleton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Yamada misses the target. Shackleton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Shackleton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yamada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jab by Yamada. Shackleton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamada swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Shackleton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Yamada closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Shackleton misses with a body punch
and Yamada counters with a straight right hand. Shackleton pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yamada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shackleton counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Yamada showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shackleton.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamada lands the left hand. Yamada lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Some wild striking there from Shackleton.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yamada! But no joy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Shackleton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yamada connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shackleton scrambles back to his feet. Shackleton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Shackleton takes a swing at Yamada's ribcage but misses. Yamada looks to land a left hand but Shackleton moved out of range nicely.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Shackleton lands a lovely overhand right. Yamada scores with a sloppy right hand. Shackleton should have avoided that one. Shackleton throws a jab but it's blocked by Yamada. Yamada looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Yamada defending well as Shackleton loads up on a big left hand. Shackleton lunges at Yamada with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yamada's hand. Yamada scores with a three punch combo!
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Yamada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Shackleton throws an overhand right that lands on Yamada's shoulder, as Yamada tries to avoid the shot. Shackleton lunges at Yamada with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yamada's hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A shot to the liver by Shackleton. Beautiful body shot. Shackleton misses with a straight right. Shackleton scores with a sloppy right hand. Yamada should have avoided that one.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Yamada ducks under a wild hook from Shackleton. Shackleton throws a jab when Yamada was well out of range. Shackleton ducks right into an uppercut from Yamada. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A shot to the liver by Yamada. Beautiful body shot. Yamada ducks under a wild hook from Shackleton. A little jabbing left from Yamada on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Yamada scores with a crisp jab that stopped Shackleton in his tracks.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Yamada is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Shackleton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yamada's head backwards. A jab lands there for Yamada. Shackleton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yamada throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shackleton counters with a stiff right hand. Yamada lands a right hook to the body.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Yamada lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Shackleton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Shackleton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yamada.
Yamada throws out a token jab with nothing on it. It looked like Shackleton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hikaru Yamada dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Shackleton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Shackleton lands a left and a right that send Yamada crashing to the mat, dazed. Shackleton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 Yamada is rocked!
 It looks like Hikaru Yamada has been cut. Yamada misses with a double jab.
Shackleton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Yamada is still on wobbly legs! Can Shackleton finish him? Shackleton walks into a stiff left hand from Yamada. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shackleton looks to land a left hand but Yamada moved out of range nicely. Yamada seems to have recovered his senses. Hikaru Yamada seems to be getting the better of the standup. Yamada sizes up Shackleton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Shackleton misses with a straight left.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Shackleton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yamada momentarily.
Yamada throws a wild hook but Shackleton just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Yamada gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the ropes! The referee jumps in - Shackleton raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ulysses Shackleton!
