Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Reyes (ranked 2246 p4p, 2037 weight class) and Rudy Sandhargen (ranked 268 p4p, 254 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rudy Sandhargen! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Sandhargen moves out of range easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sandhargen. Sandhargen throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Reyes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sandhargen's guard. Sandhargen tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Reyes throwing strikes from guard but Sandhargen blocks nicely. Sandhargen controls Reyes momentarily but Reyes frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reyes trying to control but Sandhargen is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sandhargen is controlling Reyes's posture. Sandhargen working a defensive guard here.
Reyes won't allow Sandhargen to sweep him here. Reyes looking to sit in guard and control but Sandhargen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sandhargen wants to control from the top but Reyes keeps moving. Reyes looking to control.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sandhargen forces his way into half guard. Reyes wants to control but Sandhargen is keeping busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sandhargen is keen to just control but Reyes is a slippery customer. Reyes is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Punchin N\' Chockin that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Sandhargen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Reyes is looking for a sweep. Sandhargen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reyes keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Reyes is trying to control but can't.

 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Sandhargen counters with a left and a right that stings Reyes. Reyes throws a body shot but no joy. Reyes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sandhargen's waist but Sandhargen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reyes off to one side.
Sandhargen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Reyes sprawling to the canvas. Sandhargen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Reyes hang on?
 Reyes is rocked!
 It looks like Marcus Reyes has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reyes is not content to let Sandhargen control the position.
Sandhargen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sandhargen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sandhargen passes the guard and advances to mount!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandhargen controlling the position easily from mount. Reyes is in all sorts of trouble here.
Reyes tries to lock up and control but Sandhargen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Reyes is squirming around, avoiding Sandhargen's attempts to control the action. Reyes wants to hold on but Sandhargen pushes him away. Reyes prevents Sandhargen from taking his back. Sandhargen tries to control but Reyes wriggling away.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Reyes is working to get back to half guard.

Sandhargen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Reyes manages to avoid the submission attempt. Sandhargen trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Reyes can't do much from the bottom here. Reyes manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Reyes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Sandhargen wants to work for an arm triangle but Reyes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Reyes wants to control but Sandhargen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sandhargen is looking to advance position but Reyes won't allow it. Sandhargen is trying to control the action in half guard but Reyes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Sandhargen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reyes is just riding it out for now. Sandhargen eventually gives up the hold.
Reyes is defending against the submission attempts here by Sandhargen.

 That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sandhargen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reyes! Sandhargen looking to control but Reyes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sandhargen can't control as he wanted to and Reyes manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Reyes wants to improve his position but Sandhargen is controlling well.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Sandhargen trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom.
Sandhargen seems to be looking for submissions.
Sandhargen controlling the pace. Sandhargen is keen to just control but Reyes is a slippery customer. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reyes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reyes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sandhargen's guard.
 And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reyes wants to stand up but Sandhargen has a hold of him and won't allow it.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Reyes walks into a jab.
Reyes drives through with a takedown into guard. Sandhargen is trying to control the position but Reyes postures up. Reyes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sandhargen has his foot on Reyes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reyes works his way back into a safe position though. Sandhargen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Reyes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sandhargen keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully. Reyes stopping the sweep attempt from Sandhargen.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandhargen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reyes manages to get himself to full guard.
Sandhargen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reyes is keeping the position for now. Reyes is controlling Sandhargen's posture. Sandhargen trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sandhargen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sandhargen seems to have locked his on tight now - Reyes screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sandhargen, as he picks up the win!
