Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sandor Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tatko Popovic!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popovic scores with a jab.
Popovic throws a body punch but Sanders moves out of range.
Popovic lands a left and a right that send Sanders crashing to the mat, dazed. Popovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sanders is rocked!
Good standup being displayed there by Popovic as he connects with a hook.
Oh Sanders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Popovic leaves Sanders with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sanders sets himself, and Popovic steps forward looking for the clinch! Sanders avoids it this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Popovic lands a nice shot that snaps Sanders's head back.
Sanders seems to have got his legs back now.
Sanders takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sanders tries for a takedown but Popovic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Popovic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Popovic cracks Sanders with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sanders looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Popovic finish him?
Popovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Are you kidding me?! Popovic ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Sanders clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
