Bobas Neves darts in looking for a takedown but Kovalev gets double underhooks and turns Bobas Neves into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kovalev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bobas Neves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kovalev holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rolando Bobas Neves.
