Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zabikhon Zubayrov (ranked 859 p4p, 1269 weight class) and Chris Knight (ranked 119 p4p, 166 weight class). Chris Knight told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zabikhon Zubayrov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Knight!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zubayrov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Knight shoots in but Zubayrov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zubayrov tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Knight manages to circle out of the way.
Knight's coach down at Cozad MMA London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Knight's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Knight gets tackled into the cage by Zubayrov. Zubayrov maintains the clinch.
Knight successfully pulls guard.
Zubayrov wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.
Knight is looking for a triangle here but Zubayrov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Knight is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zubayrov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Knight knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Knight is looking to control Zubayrov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Knight avoid being mounted?
Zubayrov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Knight rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Zubayrov tries to clinch but Knight moves out of range.
Zubayrov goes for a double leg but Knight avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Knight continues to drive forward.
Knight fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Zubayrov works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Zubayrov wants to pass the guard but Knight is keeping the position.
Knight looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Zubayrov has picked Knight up and slammed him! Knight can't keep hold of the triangle and Zubayrov manages to pass to side control!
Knight can't do much from the bottom here.
Zabikhon Zubayrov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knight might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zubayrov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Zubayrov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knight can do to turn this around?

Zubayrov has the hooks in. Knight is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Zubayrov passes his arm under Knight's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Knight taps!
